North of Kathmandu
valley lies Ganesh Himal and Langtang Lirung. Nestled at the
foot of these Himalayan ranges is a beautiful, secluded,
valley filled with natures bounty - the Langtang National
Park. Here the rare red pandas lurk in dense lichen-draped
rhododendron thickets, heards of blue sheep graze the alpine
meadows and lammergeiers glide over glaciated valleys amidst a
scenery of lofty Himalayan peaks. From Kyanjin Gompa we will
have a chance to climb a ridge on Yala Peak, or hike to the
foot of Langshisa glacier, for an incredible view of glaciers,
icefalls and snow fields surrounded on all sides by high
mountains. The Helambu villages, over the holy Gosainkunda
lakes and Laurebenayak pass, are the home of the Sherpas of
Nepal.. Their slate and single-roofed villages, that dot the
terraced hillsides, present very fine trekking. The region of
Langtang and Helambu although easily approached from Kathmandu
is far less trekked than the Annapurna or Everest areas making
it all the more attractive. A wonderful walk through a

This Valley is
covered by mountains and glaciers at an altitude of 3000
meters and is north to Gosainkunda. It is one of the most
enchanting and scenic spots of Nepal. There are many Yak
pastures available for camping sites. There is also the
Langtang National Park to view the Himalayan flora and fauna.
This park is the home to musk deer, snow leopard, Himalayan
black bear, and black buck etc. The Langtang village is a
remarkable place of loveliness in the backdrop of the Langtang
Lirung Himal. There is also a cheese factory established with
the Swiss technical help.
Itinerary with tour explanation:
Day 1: Arrival in Nepal (Kathmandu Airport)
Pick up from airport, rest in hotel. Evening visit to Monkey
Temple lies on the hilltop only a kilometer far from Thamel
for Kathmandu evening Valley view.
Day 2: Whole day sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley.
After breakfast you have sightseeing tour in Kathmandu Valley.
The Valley is cradle of Nepali culture and civilization is the
largest valley in the Midlands and certainly the most
beautiful. There are seven UNESCO recognized World Heritage
Sites within 20 kms. Those are: Swayambhu Nath Stupa, Boudha
Nath, Bhaktapur City, Changu Narayan Temple, Pashupatinath
Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square. Today we
arrange you to visit all above Cultural Center. Over night in
hotel.
Day 3 18: Trekking Tour
Day 19: Rest and souvenir shopping
Today you will spend your last day of this trip in Nepal with
shopping Nepali products as souvenir for your family and
friends. If necessary guide us happy to help you for shopping.
Day 20: Drive back to KTM IntÆl Airport for onward
flight.
In the morning, after breakfast our airport representative
will go Kathmandu Airport to drop you there. Your trip in
Nepal (Trekking Tour to Langtang Area) is completed!
