Itinerary
Day
1 : Arrive Kathmandu
Transfer to airport in time for flight
to Kathmandu. Assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the
hote
Day
2 : Kathmandu
Morning sightseeing tour of city and
Swayambhunath. CITY: Visit the Durbar Square, Hanuman Dhoka, the ancient royal
resident quarter, Mahadev and Parvati Temple , Machhender Bahl - (a royal place
for the Buddhists and Hindus). Temple House of Kumari the restal virgin or the
living goddess. Walk around the local bazaars. SWAYAMBHUNATH : A 2500 years old
site where, it is believed, the Radiant Lotus of valley mythology settled when
the water was drained by Manjushri, the God of Wisdom. The 5 dhyani Buddhas
attended by their consorts are enshrined at the base of the stupa. Also visit
the adjoining Museum (closed on TuesDAYs).
Afternoon tour of Patan visiting the
Old Newar City, and the historic Durbar Square. See the golden Gate, the sky
piercing temple of Teleju and the statue of Yogendra Malla among other temples.
Walk through streets lined with old windows, carved balconies of wood , curio
shops and bazaars.
Day
3 : Kathmandu
Morning excursion to Bhadgaon,
Pashupathinath and Bodhnath. BHADGAON : A newar city of 9th century. Visit the
ancient gateway. Durbar square, royal residential quarter of Bhupendra Malla,
temple of Natyapole in pagoda style and other temples. PASHUPATINATH : The
Varanasi of Nepal is the most revered shrine of Shiva sited on the banks of the
sacred Bagmati. While non Hindus are not permitted inside the temple precincts-
a walk in the environs is a richly rewarding experience of colour and custom.
BODHNATH : This collosal Stupa is one of the largest in the world. The Stupa has
the all seeing-eyes of the Lord Buddha. It was built by king Mana Deva in
expiation of his sins in the 5th century A.D. on an octagonal base inset with
prayer wheels. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

4 : Kathmandu - Delhi
Airport transfer in time for
international flight .

05 : Kathmandu / Pokhara ( 230 km / 5 ½ Hrs. )
Morning drive to Pokhara, known as the
valley city of Nepal, located 200 kms from Kathmandu. It's a blend of rich
farmlands, forested hills and half a dozen lakes (famous Phewa Tal Lake). On
arrival we assist you to check in at our Hotel followed by a leisurely evening
and overnight stay. .

06 : Pokhara
Post breakfast half day sightseeing of
Pokhara valley, the 124 square km spectacle at an average altitude of 900m. It's
cut by the Seti Gandaki river, one of the seven Gandaki Rivers that bisect the
central hills. The excellent soils make the valley a verdant nursery with the
widest assortment of flowers. From here one can view Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and
Machhapuchhare peaks. For everyone, Pokhra is a wonderful relaxing place. We
stay here overnight..

07 : Pokhara / Chitwan ( 230 km / 6 Hrs. )
Morning drive to Royal Chitwan
National Park, one of Nepal's largest forest regions with a wide range of
wildlife. On arrival we assist you to check in at our Hotel for overnight stay.
Day
08 : Chitwan / Kathmandu ( 265 km / 6 hrs. )
Early morning jungle safari to catch a
glimpse of the one horned Rhinoceros, several species of Deer, Sloth Bear,
Leopards, Wild Boar, Fresh Water Dolphins, Crocodiles and about 350 species of
birds, and not to forget, the exclusive Royal Bengal Tiger. Next on we drive
down to Nagarkot, a popular hill station situated east of Kathmandu at an
altitude of 2175 m. above sea level. The panorama of the major peaks of eastern
Nepal Himalayas including Mt. Everest can be seen from here. The best point for
sunrise view. On arrival we assist you to check in at our Hotel for overnight
stay.

09 : Kathmandu - Delhi
